Los objetivos \u00f3ptimos del tratamiento incluyen el establecimiento de una columna vertebral indolora, equilibrada y estable con la fusi\u00f3n del menor n\u00famero de v\u00e9rtebras. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Existen diferentes criterios para la elecci\u00f3n del tratamiento seg\u00fan la gravedad de la deformidad cif\u00f3tica, el compromiso del canal, la p\u00e9rdida de altura vertebral y el estado neurol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo de esta investigaci\u00f3n es evaluar el efecto terap\u00e9utico de la vertebroplastia con injerto \u00f3seo compuesto de calcio (GeneX) combinado con fijaci\u00f3n con tornillos pediculares en fracturas toracolumbares. El estudio se realiz\u00f3 en 24 pacientes, 10 mujeres y 14 hombres.
